Our Character Development Mobile Unit is an opportunity for underserved youth in our area to benefit from the character development and life skills curriculum we teach at First Tee – NWA, as well as the opportunity to be exposed to and learn the game of golf. Many youth do not have the means or transportation to be able to attend our classes and programming at our facility. The Mobile Unit takes those barriers away by taking the programming to them. We are currently in three different Elementary schools in the Springdale School District. Our unique “Character Strong” curriculum encompasses our First Tee Golf & Life Skills, as well as making sure basic needs are met, teaching financial literacy, working with social emotional skills, and encouraging positive mindsets.
